We have been offering Outdoor Bootcamp classes for over 20 years! So much so, that the neighborhood says Spring arrives when Trainer Kim’s Fitness arrives in the park and the UNBC Hill. These multi-level, self-paced classes are absolutely amazing! They are a great mix of cardio, strength, and core exercises to challenge your body and mind. Each location brings something unique to the table. The Park Workout is written on a whiteboard, and your Trainer will take you through the patterns, and provide assistance with any modifications or instruction required. Beginners and all ranges of fitness welcome…come on down and join us! I guarantee you’ll have a great workout. We are located in Lheidli T’enneh Memorial Park (previously called Fort George) on the 17th Ave side. We meet near the path opposite the Bandshell. There is a bathroom on site. Please bring your own mat and band, and of course, your water! (HILL CLASS CURRENTLY UNAVAILABLE, sorry for any inconvenience) The UNBC Hill Saturday class meets at the bottom of the UNBC hill on Glen Shee Road, where you will meet your Trainer and receive a laminated card with instructions on how to do your workout. Your card incorporates a hill climb into a self-directed bootcamp-style class with intervals of strength and cardio that will take you 60 to 90 minutes to do, either by walking or running. You’ll definitely feel a sense of accomplishment when you reach the top to meet your Trainer to do your core component and plank overlooking our great city. Please bring your own band. There is no bathroom available.
